• Intel/AMD processor with SSE2 support

macOS

• from macOS 10.14 Mojave and newer (64-bit)
• VST / VST3 / AU / AAX compatible hosts (64-bit)
• Intel/AMD/Apple Silicon CPU

But even when your computer is below the minimum requirements, the plugins may work just fine. Please use the trial period to find out.

Linux

Linux is not directly supported, but it is apparently possible to run the plugins via Wine. Before installing you have to make sure that your ".wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts/" directory is populated with Microsoft True Type Fonts (which is generally available as a package on Linux distributions).

Our software is compatible with almost every host on the market. Please check the list of the major ones below. If your host isn't on the list, please let us know via info@meldaproduction.com and we will check it out.

	VST3 is recommended. Cubase doesn't support side-chaining for VST2 plugins. Cubase 6 and newer seems much faster and more stable than previous versions.

Live Ableton

	Plugins have usually too many parameters, so you have to enable them separately to use them in the XY grid. NOTE: Live does NOT support any interface correctly, it doesn't use the reported buses properly, hence it doesn't work with surround capable plugins. Therefore you need to use VST version, which reports only stereo capabilities by default. We strongly suggest using a VST3 version of Melda plugins on Mac OS with Live 11 and 12, because of multiple reported issues with AU versions of Melda plugins in this DAW.
Studio One Presonus

Logic Apple

	Versions prior to Wavelab 7 were buggy and are now officially unsupported, you may experience various glitches and freezing with them.
ProTools Avid

	RTAS is not and never will be supported, therefore you need ProTools 10 or newer. ProTools 11 or newer is highly recommended. ProTools' support for latency compensation is highly limited. If you are using PT 10, ensure it is fully up-to-date - there's an authorization bug in PT, also the update detection in PT seems buggy.

	It is ESSENTIAL to disable the default sandboxing - in Bitwig plugin settings select 'Together' or 'By manufacturer'. Without this the plugins cannot share resources and require more CPU and memory, multiplugins such as MMultiAnalyzer or MAutoAlign cannot work at all, and we believe it is generally less stable.
