Marc Urselli recommends

MAmp

"Distortion is an integral part of my sonic process and anytime I need a wider palette of distortion with more options that just a gain or a drive knob I turn to MAmp or MDistortionMB, which gives me distortion that works well not just on guitars and bass, but also vocals, drums and anything else you feed it!"

MAutoAlign

Unique

"One thing I often did on this record was check to make sure that all my drum mics were in phase. I’ve tried several plugins for this task throughout the years, and I’ve settled on the MAutoAlign by Melda Production."

MAutoDynamicEq

Unique

"My favorite plugin has become the MAudioDynamicEq, which has become an integral part of my workflow and is in every mix I do. I pretty much have almost entirely replaced regular EQing with dynamic EQing thanks to this powerful tool and I don't see myself ever going back!"

MDistortionMB

"Distortion is an integral part of my sonic process and anytime I need a wider palette of distortion with more options that just a gain or a drive knob I turn to MAmp or MDistortionMB, which gives me distortion that works well not just on guitars and bass, but also vocals, drums and anything else you feed it!"

MAutoPitch

Free

"Pitch shifting is something I use sparsely to add a faint, hidden, or subliminal harmony to something or to create a more interesting sonic texture. Depending on whether I'm working on a vocal or on an instrument I might use MAutoPitch or MHarmonizerMB to either gently address performance issues or creatively express ideas."

MTurboReverb

Unique

"Reverb is obviously something that's on almost every mix, but sometimes you want something more specific than just a plate or a hall, so I can go to MReverb, or MTurboReverb, according to how much control and creativity I need for my application. The MTurboReverb algorithms are particularly compelling when you want something more complex and detailed."

MVocoder

"Vocoder in modern music is arguably almost more important than it was decades ago with the advent of electronic music when it was invented. Today I use it to add character, dimension, or spice to a vocal that can use some help or some excitement, whether it's in pop, metal, or rock, I've used MVocoder to breathe life into the vocal chords of all types of singers!"
